In this article, I share my journey from writing stories for myself to becoming a published author. I talk about my fascination with the darker versions of fairy tales, what inspired me to combine fairy tales with horror, and the challenges I encountered while writing and publishing my first book. I also reflect on what I have learned from putting my work in front of readers, how my writing has developed, and what continues to inspire me to write new stories.
